Lakrak's tribe discovers livestock farming, and they encounter a wandering guide who claims to know paths to new lands. The tribe also begins to better understand how to handle Manun, their tamed drake.
Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with Lakrak's tribe having successfully started livestock farming, a new skill for survival. They then meet a wanderer who offers his services as a guide, claiming he can lead them to new, uninhabited lands. The tribe also starts to figure out Manun's feeding schedule which seems to be the key to him being docile. Finally, one of the tribe members suggests taming another species to assist with food shortages.
