Chapter Synopsis
The chapter begins with a new student, Kainan, being somewhat standoffish, seemingly ignoring others when asked for his name but his talent soon shines when he displays proficiency with complex spells. Later, Kainan joins some other students for a punishment and it turns into a failed escape attempt but during that a third-year student is impressed by his abilities and teaches him a space recognition spell. Kainan quickly masters it, which further amazes everyone, although Kainan attributes his invisibility to someone else. The chapter ends with the students wondering if the 'Heap-master' cast it on him.
