Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with Cassin receiving birthday wishes and gifts, including a mysterious stone from his family. His sister expresses concern and a desire to protect him, followed by a conversation with another sibling about Cassin’s abilities and the need for guidance. Cassin's father is then confronted about Cassin’s wish to stay with the Sade family, and after hearing Cassin’s motivations, his father begrudgingly agrees on the basis that Cassin can control them.
