Chapter Synopsis
Prince Pachel's request for an audience with the Emperor is rejected, leaving him frustrated and seeking alternative routes to gain recognition. He and Urich visit the Sun Warriors' weapon storage, where Urich is impressed with their craftsmanship but ultimately refuses to join. Pachel then proposes Urich participate in a jousting contest as his knight, hoping to impress the Emperor and gain influence despite Urich's objections to the nature of violence.
