Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with the aftermath of a battle, revealing the Vengeance Sword Sect's manor is burned to the ground with no survivors, presumed to have committed suicide to prevent capture. An investigation is launched, revealing some members of the Guardian Pavilion were linked to the sect, and a search for the missing leaders ensues. The search leads to a letter from a branch in the Fujian province reporting the discovery of these leaders, but the search party then goes missing. The Heavenly Demon believes the Six Gates Sect may be behind the Vengeance Sword Sect's actions and possibly the recent turmoil as well and decides to seek the Demonic Physician for answers.
