Chapter 72
Elric is tasked with growing a Camellia tree to complete the second arrangement and encounters a powerful being who knows his grandfather's promise. They are sent to a temple to learn how to take away winter.
Chapter Synopsis
The chapter begins with Elric learning the next step of his arrangement, to grow a Camellia tree which ends the current test. He is then met by a woman who reveals she was awoken by the demonic and cold energy from the seed and claims to know Elric's grandfather's promise. She sends Elric to the Temple of Flowers to learn to overcome 'winter,' while another entity appears revealing his intention is to stay with him. Lastly, Elric is told that he must learn how to swallow the eastern general.
