Chapter Synopsis
A calamity meteor has brought a strange mist, known as "The Mist", which spawns powerful and dangerous beasts that disappear when the fog disperses. An entomology research team's lost giant centipede, originally from a cave near the affected area, is discovered to be the only living thing that has left the fog. It's believed the centipede's capture could reveal information about the fog's inner workings and the nature of the beasts within, as the team currently only understands the outside effects of the fog.
