Chapter Synopsis
The chapter opens with the world on edge due to the impending return of a demon king and increased monster attacks, prompting the Wind Kingdom to enlist volunteers. The protagonist, also the author of the manga, aims to exploit this to gain favor with the royalty. However, his attempts to control the storyline lead to a confrontation with a cruel commander, Francis, and he accidentally becomes the boss of a group of bandits, leading them to a forced duel in the enlistment ceremony. The author, realizing his plans are going off course, declares he will challenge Francis to a duel, attempting to take control of the narrative by force.
